Tried piano but didn't have the patience to LEARN it; I just wanted to PLAY it. Had a short try with the violin, but my
fingers were too stubby and I couldn't 'hear' the notes. I'm tone deaf. Then, about 45 years ago, I had a buddy that played
drums in the jr high band and he convinced me to come try it (it was better than going to gym class...). Turned out I had a
little bit of rhythm and so I played in the school band in jr high and high school. I have played in about 10 rock bands over
the years and I have performed in the orchestra for many local community-theater productions. I have played
professionally for the SLCC Grand Theater. I have played percussion for the Murray Concert Band and performed in
concerts around the valley. I am currently playing for two rock bands and am having a ball!
